ARASA is a weeklong course in regional
anaesthesia which is very hands-on, with
delegates spending a lot of time hands-on on
cadavers, phantoms, live models and
anaesthetised pigs.
For a description of the course content and
the faculty and their CV's please go to
www.sajra.co.za and view them there.
- The course takes four and a half days -
Monday to Friday lunch time. See attached
program for details
- It is held at the Department of Anatomy of
the University of Pretoria.
- The course fee includes lunch and two
teas.
- If accommodation is required we have
negotiated a very reasonable deal with a
nearby hotel.
- The course also gives 30 CPD points.
- The course dates for 2008 are February -
18th to 22nd & October (TBA)
- The cost for the week is R2000.00
including teas, meals, practical workshops
and study material
The course also is also SETA registered and
has a SETA number which means that state
employees can get their course expenses
refunded from the state.
NB ! Due to the very hands-on nature of the
course,
attendance is restricted in numbers and
place is
usually confirmed on a "first paid, first
registered" basis.
